| My first East Block Walkers
Some times ago I purchased a lot of AT-43 Red Block Walkers from Rackham. Lately I converted and weathered three of the smaller ones as test models.
The models as delivered:
I intended to equip the walkers with two of the HMGs. So I built a mold and cast some in resin. do
The converted models with new bases added:
I painted the new parts in the ground colors.
Then I did some heavy weathering, mostly with oil colors and dry pigments. The bases were
painted and drybrushed. The first finished model:

Recently I started to work on one of the big Walkers. I couldn't resist to do some conversion work on this one too.
The following conversions had been done: added - making a double rocked lancher and drilling
our 3 rockets to look like they have been fired
Next step will be the painting of the new parts, basing and heavy weathering of the whole model. It stands already on my workbench but I never know if I may get distracted by other projects.
