I started collecting some of the fantastic US Airborn from BAM (BoltActionMiniatures). For my taste this line from BAM is best they ever did.
A few week ago I found some pictures of also very nice 28 mm US Airborn miniatures from the new company Offensive Miniatures. So I had to order two sets to see them in flesh and compare them with the lines of BAM and Artizan.
Today the package arrived. That was a very good service from Offensive Miniatures, friendly and fast.
I think the minis from Offensive work best with BAM. The style of the sculpting, the measures of the weapons and equipment are nearly identical. I selected three miniatures with same weapons and similar poses and took a photo of them. The result can be found on the next pictures.
The miniatures from BAM might be a bit better, especialy some of the weapons (M1 Garand). The miniatures from Offensive have slightly smaller heads and helmets and longer/slimmer legs. But I think that they can easyly be mixed, even in the same platoon - and so will I do.
The two packs from Offensive will not be the last and the announced new packs from BAM are a must have too.
